Our award winning team of criminal defense attorneys prides itself on zealously defending any type of criminal charge our clients or their loved one may be facing.
Aggressive | Dedicated | Diligent
Regardless of the severity of the charges, our hard-hitting and distinguished panel of lawyers is committed to protecting its clients and achieving results, with a combined 50+ years of experience in both Federal and State courts.
SKT has tackled some of the most complex legal issues, and we are well-respected for our dedication, diligence, and exceptional results.
We understand and appreciate accusations levied against someone are scary, and disrupt the lives of not only the accused, but their families. We filter as much of the stress for a client as is humanly possible. We recognize that we are a client’s ears and mouth throughout this process, and we accept that responsibility very seriously. We communicate with clients frequently and explain in granular detail and in understandable layman’s terms what is involved throughout the process. It’s our job to assist clients in the understanding of what the charges against them mean; what the possible outcomes are; and identify what the best methods are in zealously defending them.
State Crimes
It is normal for fear and uncertainty to set in after being charged with a crime. Our representation in the legal community is one of being a zealous protector of clients. We pride ourselves on being aggressive and fierce, in spite of the charges against those we represent.
Federal Crimes
Our Federal defense team is comprised of some of the best and brightest minds in the field. SKT’s top Federal defense attorney, Eliot Krieger, is Harvard educated, and is a former Department of Justice Prosecutor. As such, Eliot has working knowledge of how Prosecutors think and operate, which affords us the opportunity to provide the best defense.
Criminal Investigation
SKT also represents clients who have not yet been charged of a crime, however, have an investigation pending. At this stage, it is vital to have representation. Too often those under investigation lead the prosecution to filing charges against them that could have been avoided had they been represented by counsel. We have dealt with nearly every branch of government including, but not limited to: the U.S Security & Exchange Commission (SEC); the California Department of Justice (DOJ); the U.S. Attorney’s Office; the Department of Homeland Security (DHS); the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA); the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI); the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF); and the Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).
